Oil & Water 04:09
OIL AND WATER-David Ricciuti A fever’s been emerging That's swept across the land It's threatens our existence And the freedoms that we have It ain't no wildfire No drought nor flooding rain It's Pigeonholing bleaters Of the new PC brigade (Chorus) Just like oil and water Political correctness And truths don't mix The only true description of Political correct Is that it’s entirely possible To hold a piece of shit by the clean end Then grin and turn the other cheek (Chorus) Just like oil and water Political correctness And truths don't mix (Solo) You tell me not to speak my mind You tell me not to think Because we don't agree You brand with words that end with ist We live in a democracy Or so they try to say As long as we ignore the facts Pretend that night is day (Chorus) Just like oil and water Political correctness And truths don't mix A good man is a good man And a fool is just a fool No race creed or religion Are exceptions to the rule Respect cannot be handed out It can't be bought or sold It’s not a badge that you can pin Upon your empty soul (Chorus) x 2 Just like oil and water Political correctness And truths don't mix

Freedom Road 04:38
FREEDOM ROAD- D. Ricciuti/D. Walker There’s a sign on the highway There’s a fork in the road A lifetime of lessons learnt Means nothing it shows Armchair doctor experts, making all the rules Selling us their theories while they’re taking us for fools And there’s nowhere left to hide CHORUS On that Freedom Road Don’t tell me what to think, don’t tell me how to live On that freedom road Get your hand out of my pocket I’ve got no more to give I’ve got no more to give There’s a Cop in the distance Behind a big big box tree There’s a crime being committed somewhere But the radar gun’s on me Quiet quota afternoon, I’m doing 105 Like a fat kid on a seasaw, all tilted to one side And there’s nowhere left to hide No one’s putting up a fight CHORUS On that Freedom Road Don’t tell me what to think, don’t tell me how to live On that freedom road Get your hand out of my pocket I’ve got no more to give I’ve got no more to give SOLO There’s a kid with a clipboard He’s just out of school Tells me that I’m doing wrong Something he could never do The writing in a text book aint no substitute for life The rules and regulations, they’re just dumbing down our minds And there’s nowhere left to hide No one’s putting up a fight They’re all waiting round to die CHORUS On that Freedom Road Don’t tell me what to think, don’t tell me how to live On that freedom road Get your hand out of my pocket I’ve got no more to give I’ve got no more to give

Midnight in Muskoka - D Ricciuti/D Walker (CHORUS) It’s midnight in Muskoka Nine o’clock here in LA 20 hours since leaving Melbourne See you tomorrow yesterday Sitting in this Soul-less bar, Waiting for the boarding call People rushing by me, laughing and they’re crying They got stories of their own Cause They’ve all left someone behind So they might know how I feel But they haven’t left someone like you, been through all that we’ve been through The distance and the tears CHORUS: It seems a lifetime since I’ve seen you Since we said our last goodbyes Four hours in the air and two more in the car And I’ll be by your side And the waiting’s always got to me You know I’m always on the move But I gladly put my life on hold, face the fears and brave the cold If it gets me back to you CHORUS: SOLO: CHORUS: Refrain

TEQUILA & WHISKEY-D Ricciuti / D Walker Tequila and whiskey will be the death of me Tequila and whiskey, never set me free Cost me my house my home, my wife she’s gone Aint got no license, no chance of driving My liver is shot, my health is not what it used to be (CHORUS) But I keep running back to you Cos you’re the only thing that makes sense to me Tequila and whiskey cures my blues (SOLO) Used to go from four, then pushed back more, to the early start Then a liquid lunch and a bottle at night, to keep the dark away from me Then I lost my job and I ended up on the welfare line, didn’t get me dry Couldn’t pay my bills, then the landlord he’d had enough of me (CHORUS) But I keep running back to you Cos you’re the only thing that makes sense to me Tequila and whiskey cures my blues (SOLO) Then I found some friends who shared my ends, and we drank together in all the weather Till one by one they came undone and fell away Till late one night when the cold wind bites, I drank my last and said goodnight My body gone, my soul alone in a pauper’s grave (CHORUS) But I keep running back to you Cos you’re the only thing that makes sense to me Tequila and whiskey cures my blues Tequila and whiskey cures my blues (OUT)

THE BALLAD OF LUMPY DEAM- D Ricciuti/D Walker Just a kid from Middlesex, a servant for a man With influence and property to spare Young William picked his pocket, fished out 20 quid Old Bailey and the judge’s icy stare Sentenced to be hanged by the neck until he died In the 35th year of King George Commuted to a prison hulk, four years in Langston Harbour Then banished to the brutal fatal shore CHORUS 300 men sailed the Hellship to Australia 95 were laid to rest at sea 7 months of sickness on the fever ridden Hillsborough 1 man made history Thunderstorm was brewing as they sailed into the harbour Young William Dean was more dead than alive The Governor made mention of their miserable conditions And wondered how any could survive He set sail once again down the Parramatta river His life assigned to a preacher man The Reverend Samual Marsden, the fearsome flogging Parson Built his legacy with the convict hands CHORUS 300 men sailed the Hellship to Australia 95 were laid to rest at sea 7 months of sickness on the fever ridden Hillsborough 1 man made history William kept his nose clean and got emancipated Got some land and a brand new life Female convicts in the street, he dropped a hanky at her feet And Elizabeth became his loyal wife He grew in girth and power and every waking hour The Eastern Creek was flowing through his mind The farming and the toil, the riches and the spoils The equal of the men he once defied CHORUS 300 men sailed the Hellship to Australia 95 were laid to rest at sea 7 months of sickness on the fever ridden Hillsborough 1 man made history Trouble on the left of him, riches to the right He built a pub upon the Western road Bush Inn business booming with a Blacksmith out the back Lumpy Dean reaped all that he sowed They say you judge a man by what he leaves behind History becomes a blushing bride A suburb and a Primary School both bearers of his name Eight children spread descendants far and wide A giant of a man, a legend of his time No bushel could his light ever hide A big chair took the weight of all he did create And a giant whisky glass by his side CHORUS 300 men sailed the Hellship to Australia 95 were laid to rest at sea 7 months of sickness on the fever ridden Hillsborough 1 man made history 1 man made history

OLD BLOKE LIKE ME-David Ricciuti /Dave Walker The old man sat down at the bar of the pub He took off his hat and said how are you son? We sat there for hours, a few beers and a chat We talked of the world and of where we are at He said the experts all tell us it won’t rain again The climate is changing and it’s all due to man They say they’ve done studies, no use building dams Instead we’ll spend billions on a big Desal plant. CHORUS I told you before and I’ll tell you again It’s gone around once, it’ll come ‘round again Do what you can and see what you see Nobody listens to an old bloke like me The Government spruiks that the world’s heating up A new carbon tax, that should make it all stop While buried in landfill good products are dumped Designed not to fix it’s disposable junk I tell the young folk not to build on a slab When you live by a river or a creek on the flat They say I’m old fashioned those days are long gone There’s been droughts and floods long before they were born CHORUS They say my old Holden should be off the road A big carbon footprint, a hybrid’s the go I could run my old Holden for 50 more years And create less emissions than to build a new Prius. He laid down his glass and he put on his hat He said thank you young fella for having this chat I’m not educated but I know wrong from right I got what I know from the hard knocks of life CHORUS

(CHORUS) (SOLO) I’m makin a mile, you’re right there behind, All the places that I’ve been I marry your words to the landscape that’s blurred Through the mirrors in my mind (CHORUS)

RUNNING FROM MYSELF- D Ricciuti/D Walker The walls are closing in on me, the cold is blowing through There’s ninety six five minutes and I’ve given none to you This battle ready soldier has now run out of fight Time is up, it’s time to go, it’s time to say goodbye (CHORUS) The winds of change are shifting, and I’m standing with no shelter Searching for the goal posts, but they’ve all disappeared I’m running from the pressure, running from the weather When the fog has lifted, I’m running from myself When I think of all the years that passed and how the times have changed We used to make a living out of hard work and small change Life is wishful drinking and the bottle is my friend Failing’s not as frightening as living with regret (CHORUS) (SOLO) So I close the door behind me and I throw away the key And I sink to a new high and I learn how to be Head up to the river where the sun burns off the time And the cold, the wet, the misery I leave it all behind (CHORUS)

ONE MORE SONG-D Ricciuti/R Ricciuti CHORUS (Acapella) Singing one more song tomorrow’s a new day Sharing laughs and bearing smiles, memories to make We’ve always been rich though the dollars have been few Home is where the heart is and my heart is here with you Sitting on the riverbank, playing my guitar All I’ve got to think about is counting up the stars The campfire coals are glowing, dinner’s in the pot At Lower Moira party hut, the good times never stop CHORUS Waylon, Willie, Johnny Cash are with us every night There’s always lots of drinking, but you’ll never see a fight Playing till the early hours until the songs run out Or Rolly’s passed out on the couch, and there’s no one left to shout CHORUS We get up in the morning and think about the day Gotta make a big decision, Murray Cod or Cray I can’t make my mind up, the stress is getting me So I think I’ll just go crack a can and then we’ll wait and see CHORUS
